Carmen is a communicator, writer, editor and graphic designer with broad background in print, web and social media. She is a public information specialist with City of Alexandria and the former editor of The Christian Leader and the University of California-Davis School of Law alumni magazine. She has extensive experience in writing, editing, magazine publishing, web management and developing communication strategies for new and traditional media.
Carmen has developed and implemented social media strategies for a variety of clients. She also writes a column on popular culture and faith in the Mennonite World Review as well as film, television and book reviews. She blogs on faith and culture at In the Open Space.
Carmen holds a Master of Arts degree from California State University, Fresno.
